Implementation of COMESA Customs Union: Common External Tariff, Common Tariff Nomenclature (CTN) and adoption of the COMESA Customs Regulations
In the case of Uganda, implementation awaits completion of the discussion between the four EAC Member States in COMESA on how to implement given that EAC is already a customs union. However awareness and training of the private was undertaken on rules of origin applicable under the EAC and COMESA.
